Computer Meltdown 2010

Well I started off December with high hopes of constant updates, instead my computer had a complete meltdown. Luckily after weeks of waiting the computer surgeons managed to save all my data and set me up with some tasty new hardware. So long story short, I’m back online!

After weeks of being away from the warm glow of my computer monitor it’s really nice to be back. Unfortunately during my downtime I missed the release of PARADOX EMBRACE. The long awaited platformer by Steve Castro that I did all the art/animation for. It’s a sweet game so if you haven’t checked it out yet, play it now!

The one good thing that came out of the forced downtime was that it allowed me to write all the puzzles for the new Reemus game without the added distraction of email or web surfing. So you can expect a tighter, deeper gaming experience. I’m hoping to start full production on that one very soon! I’ll keep you posted with screenshots as that unfolds.

In other news, I was invited to attend this years Flash Gaming Summit in San Francisco. I’m stoked at the prospect of finally meeting some of the people I’ve only talked through email with all these years. If you’re attending too, make sure you say hi!

Once again there is an awards show celebrating all the best in flash gaming. It just so happens I had three games out in 2009 – A Small Favor, Several Journeys of Reemus Chapter 3 and Another Small Favor. If any of those games tickled your fancy, let your voice be heard and cast a nomination for one or all of them :)

Well back to the grind, time to make up for lost time!
