Happy New Year!

As 2011 comes to an end, so does production on The Ballads of Reemus. Steve is patching up the last known issues right now and it should be in your hands sometime next week.

At first I was hoping to end the year with the game being released, but starting out the new year with a finished game is probably more fitting. 2011 was the struggle, 2012 is the fruits of our labor.

I’m proud of what we accomplished with this game and I can’t wait to take everything we learned on this one and apply it to a brand new project. Now the big question is what will that be?

Have a great new year! Get ready for some adventuring in 2012!

Happy Chrimbus

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Obviously we didn’t get the game out in time for Christmas but it’s mere days away at this point.

I have played the full game from beginning to end with full sound, music and voice. I’m actually amazed at how much the sound design changed the entire experience for us. Steve told me he always thought the game was funny, but now with voices he found himself laughing out loud. So I feel really great about how things have shaped up and I can’t wait to share it with you all.

I’m going to unplug now and enjoy some quality family time. Talk to you all next week with hopefully some big Reemus news!

Reemus & Liam Shirt!

I always find it a bit of a challenge when trying to convert my highly colourful cartoon characters into a limited colour T-shirt. Sometimes you have to get creative with what colours get sacrificed. So with a limited 6 colour palette, here’s what we came up with for a Reemus & Liam shirt.

Reemus once again chooses brawn over brains

We decided that instead of going with “Ballads” or “journeys” that we’d just put the characters names on the shirt. That way it isn’t tied into any one series and is more of a timeless tribute to our bug crushing duo. Also, the image on the shirt is completely made up and isn’t a part of either games.

So what do you think? Would you be interested in displaying Reemus and Liam proudly across your chest?
